South Carolina lands talented receiver from Memphis out of the NCAA transfer portal

South Carolina continues to add weapons to its offense for QB Spencer Rattler.
Already this offseason, the Gamecocks have landed pass catchers Trey Knox, Nick Elksnis and Joshua Simon to bolster the TE room.
On Monday, it was confirmed that Memphis WR Eddie Lewis was joining Shane Beamer’s program via the transfer portal:

Lewis was the Tigers’ leading receiver in 2022, recording 42 catches for 615 yards and 7 touchdowns while also earning second-team All-AAC honors as a returner.
The Gamecocks get Juice Wells back for their WR room in 2023, but need to replace some other key pass catchers. Lewis has a chance to contribute right away this fall.
