Dennis Daley, a three-star JUCO offensive lineman who has been committed to South Carolina since last January, took the recent news that OL coach Shawn Elliott had accepted the Georgia State head coaching job rather well.

Standing at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds, Daley is the No. 6-ranked JUCO offensive tackle from the 2017 class and is the state of South Carolina’s top JUCO prospect. Daley’s main contact throughout his recruiting process with the Gamecocks was Elliott.
South Carolina has 20 commits, many whom had built a strong relationship with Elliott. The Gamecocks’ 2017 class sits at No. 17 in 247Sports’ team rankings, which is good for seventh in the SEC.
