Hours after we learned that Shaq Davidson (knees) will miss the 2015 season, South Carolina freshman receiver Jerad Washington suffered a broken left leg.

The 5-foot-8, 158-pound receiver, listed as a member of the third-team offense, injured his leg during a 1-on-1 drill Sunday afternoon, the team said in a release.

Washington enrolled in January. He wasn’t part of a six-person group that the Gamecocks have identified as the main receivers entering Thursday night’s game against North Carolina.

Other than the short statement by South Carolina, there isn’t much information available on the injury.
