South Carolina reveals new OC Dowell Loggains’ contract info, announces raise and extension for Pete Lembo

South Carolina is adding one key assistant to Shane Beamer’s staff and keeping another important person in Columbia.
On Tuesday, the school approved a contract for new OC Dowell Loggains, who comes to South Carolina via Arkansas.
Per South Carolina insider David Cloninger, the 3-year contract for Loggains is worth $1 million per season:
Dowell Loggains has been approved as South Carolina's offensive coordinator. He has a three-year deal (through 2025) at $1 million per year.

In addition to Loggains’ contract, an extension and raise has also been approved for special teams coordinator Pete Lembo, who was a Broyles Award semifinalist in 2022.
Lembo’s new contract will take him through the 2025 season and will pay him $725,000 per year:

Loggains has served as Arkansas’s tight ends coach the past 2 seasons. He has previous experience as an offensive coordinator at the NFL level with the Tennessee Titans, Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.
Lembo has spent the past 2 seasons with the Gamecocks, transforming the team’s special-teams units into some of the best in the nation.
