The collegiate careers for South Carolina quarterback Dylan Thompson and safety Brison Williams aren’t over just yet.

Thompson, the Gamecocks’ new record-holder for single-season passing yards, will play in the East-West Shrine Game on Jan. 10 in Charleston, S.C. while Williams has elected to play in the Medal of Honor Bowl.

Thompson is an NFL Draft longshot whose best opportunity is a free agent spot like his predecessor, Connor Shaw. Williams is listed as the 20th best safety prospect in the latest individual player rankings by WalterFootball.com.

Williams picked off four passes this season, returning two for touchdowns against Vanderbilt and South Alabama.

NFL scouts are expected to be in attendance at both events.
