South Carolina started its fall practice schedule on Tuesday, wearing helmets with shorts.

In the no-contact practice, players worked on getting back in the flow of things as the 2016 season quickly approaches.

The Gamecocks released a short video on their Twitter account Tuesday evening showcasing the highlights from day one:

Of note in the video is QB Lorenzo Nuñez, wearing jersey No. 19, working out with the wide receivers. Nuñez is expected to help the Gamecocks’ offense from the receiver position in 2016.

It’s still early, and he wasn’t wearing pads, but if he can show the skills that he flashed while racking up 375 rushing yards last season, South Carolina’s offense will have another much-needed weapon.
