South Carolina, looking to improve on its eight-win season, is set to play Michigan in the Outback Bowl, and has revealed its uniform combination for the noon kickoff Eastern to be televised on ESPN2.

For Michigan, the Wolverines are looking to finish strong following losses to Michigan State, Penn State, Wisconsin and Ohio State after a 4-0 start. Michigan is trying to beat South Carolina to avoid the first three-game losing streak under Jim Harbaugh.
The Outback Bowl will be an audition of sorts for people on both sides.
Michigan quarterback Brandon Peters, coming off a concussion at the end of the regular season, is looking to fend off a challenge from Ole Miss transfer Shea Patterson. Meanwhile, Bryan McClendon is looking to make an impression after South Carolina fired offensive coordinator Kurt Roper last month.
Will Muschamp is one of five South Carolina coaches to win eight games in his second season. Only one, Joe Morrison, won more than eight (1984, 10).
