South Carolina football revealed its uniform combo Saturday afternoon, ahead of tonight’s bounce-back opportunity against No. 23 Mizzou.
The Gamecocks will be wearing their white-on-white stormtrooper uniforms in Columbia. The South Carolina social team also threw in a nice nod to former Gamecocks QB Connor Shaw, using No. 14 to reveal tonight’s look.
Check it out:
For obvious reasons, tonight’s game feels like a must-win for South Carolina football. The Gamecocks had high hopes to start the season, but fell to Vanderbilt at home last weekend. Making matters worse, Gamecocks QB LaNorris Sellers was knocked out of the game with a concussion late in the 2nd half.
The Gamecocks have been good on the road recently, though tonight’s matchup will be their first road test of the season. Last year, South Carolina won all but one of its road contests – falling only to Alabama by a score of 27-25. Wins over Clemson, Vanderbilt and Oklahoma constitute a 3-game road winning streak for the Gamecocks heading into tonight’s tilt against the Tigers.
Of course, continuing that streak will be easier said than done. Missouri has looked stout thus far in 2025, led by QB Beau Pribula out of Penn State and RB Ahmad Hardy out of Louisiana-Monroe. We’ll see if their early success can translate against a SEC-caliber defense in South Carolina.
Kickoff for Gamecocks-Tigers is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
