South Carolina is in the throes of a tough season, sitting at 2-4 and coming off a pair of blowout losses to LSU and Texas A&M. The Gamecocks are desperate for a win and hope that they can break their latest skid as they travel to Oxford to take on Ole Miss.
The 2 teams don’t meet regularly, but their last game against each other was in 2018, a 48-44 Gamecocks win in Oxford. The all-time series is tied at 8-8, with Carolina having won the previous 3 matchups.
On Thursday, South Carolina released its uniform combination for this weekend’s game. The team will be clad in all-black helmets with maroon and white striping—with the familiar “block C” logo in black overlayed with the Gamecock mascot in maroon—along with white jerseys with maroon letters and numbers and white pants with maroon, white and black trim.
