The Week 3 S&P+ projections were released on Thursday and they included picks for every SEC game.
Teams in bold are projected to cover the spread.
“The spread (listed in parentheses) is shown next to S&P+’s pick for each game,” an article from SB Nation stated. “When S&P+ predicts a push (a tie with Vegas, basically), I’m listing the pick on the side that S&P+ would’ve picked, if teams could score in decimals.”
S&P+ ratings are broken down all the way to the decimal, but a game can’t be decided by decimals, obviously. These projections have been 62 percent accurate so far in the 2017 college football season.
Arkansas has a bye this week, by the way.
Here are all the SEC picks:
- No. 1 Alabama 43, Colorado State (+28.5) 15
- No. 12 LSU (-8.5) 34, Mississippi State 24
- No. 13 Georgia 45, Samford 9
- No. 15 Auburn 48, Mercer 6
- No. 18 Kansas State 29, Vanderbilt (+4) 29
