Spencer Rattler has found his new home. The Oklahoma transfer quarterback announced Monday that he has committed to South Carolina.

Last month, Rattler announced he planned to leave Oklahoma. Rattler entered the 2021 season as a Heisman Trophy favorite but was pulled for Caleb Williams during the season. A redshirt sophomore, Rattler played in 9 games this season, going 140-of-187 passing for 1,483 yards, 11 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. Prior to 2021, Rattler appeared in 14 games over 2 seasons.

Rattler reunites with Shane Beamer by transferring to South Carolina. Beamer was an Oklahoma assistant for 3 seasons (2018-20), including Rattler’s first 2 years on campus (2019, ’20).
