National Signing Day, spring practice and the NFL Draft are all finished. In the college football world, it’s officially talkin’ season.

The preseason polls help keep the conversation going in the dog days of the college football offseason. The first day of summer isn’t until June 21, but as far as college football fans are concerned, it’s summer as soon as spring practice comes to a close.

Sports Illustrated recently revealed its post-spring Top 25. The three teams to play in the last two national championship games – Clemson, Alabama and Georgia – sit 1-2-3. CFB fans won’t be surprised Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Michigan occupy the 4-7 spots. Florida checks in at No. 8.

The remaining three SEC teams to be represented in the SI poll all hail from the West: No. 10 Texas A&M, No. 13 LSU and No. 19 Auburn.

The full top 25 is available here. Just don’t drink the Kool-Aid.
