Sports Illustrated releases preseason top 25 featuring half of the SEC

It looks like it’s going to be another good season for the Southeastern Conference.
Not that we didn’t already know that but the latest preseason poll released from Sports Illustrated is just the latest evidence of that heading into the 2019 college football season as half of the league is ranked in the poll. Not only are there seven SEC teams listed, all seven rank in the top 20 of the SI’s preseason poll.
Here is a breakdown of where each SEC team listed in Sports Illustrated’s preseason top 25 poll ranks:
#1 Alabama
#3 Georgia
#8 LSU
#10 Florida
#13 Texas A&M
#17 Auburn
#20 Mississippi State
