LSU may be the underdog on the road in Tuscaloosa but that hasn’t stopped the gamblers from picking a side in the upcoming matchup of top 3 opponents.
Alabama is currently favored by six points at home over LSU but according to New Jersey sportsbook PointsBetUSA, 90 percent of the money coming in on the game favors the Tigers.
This information was shared Saturday by ESPN gambling insider David Payne Purdum.
It’s not unheard of for one side to be slightly favored in a matchup with the points but 90 percent is very unusual for a game of this magnitude.
Regardless of where your allegiances lie in this one, based on this information, the sportsbooks will be rooting hard for Alabama to not only win on Saturday but cover the spread. Otherwise, sportsbooks across the nation will be hurting come Saturday night.
