Four-star 2016 athlete Stephen Davis Jr. (Irmo, South Carolina) on Sunday decommitted from Auburn, making the announcement on his Twitter account:
After thinking a lot I have just decided to open my recruitment back up and de-commit from Auburn.

The son of former Auburn great Stephen Davis made his verbal pledge last month, but said he was only 70 percent committed at the time. Auburn now has 12 verbal commits in its 2016 class.
Davis (6-foot-4, 215) is projected as a safety at the college level and has offers from several SEC schools including Florida and Georgia.
He hasn’t yet announced official visits.
