Via a report from Auburn Undercover, projected starting running back Jovon Robinson was not at practice for the start of the preseason camp.

The 6-foot, 219-pound battering ram was slated to fortify Gus Malzahn’s run-heavy scheme. He came on very strong toward the end of the 2015 season — rushing for at least 90 yards in five of the last six games.

If Robinson is unavailable for any reason, the Tigers will likely rely upon the inexperienced duo of Malik Miller and Kerryon Johnson.

Gus Malzahn is supposed to address Robinson’s absence this afternoon.
