The LSU Tigers and Auburn Tigers just wrapped up their SEC matchup on Saturday night in Death Valley. The score was 20-10 LSU early in the third, but it was too much LSU in the end to win the game, 48-18. It has been a game with a ton of big plays. Jayden Daniels has 325 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, while Kyren Lacey had 4 catches for 111 yards and 1 touchdown.

There has also been big hits, but the biggest hit in Baton Rouge wasn’t done by a player in the game. Rather, it was by a state trooper, who showed fans he has some hit power as well while taking out a fan who ran on to the field.

Fans will be talking about the dominating performance by LSU, but they might also be talking about the hit heard around Baton Rouge.

With the win in the game, LSU moves to 6-2 on the season, including a 4-1 record in the SEC. The Tigers will be out of conference next year, as they host Army next weekend. Kickoff there will be at 7:30 pm ET on the SEC Network. For Auburn, it is a 3rd consecutive loss, as the Tigers are now 3-3, but 0-3 in the SEC.

Auburn has another tough game next week, as the Tigers host No. 13 Ole Miss.
