Statistics show November being a horror month for Texas A&M

Texas A&M has enjoyed some nice success since joining the SEC in 2012.

In the Aggies’ inaugural season, they went 11-2 — punctuated by a Cotton Bowl victory against Oklahoma.

Since then, Texas A&M has won at least eight games in each of the past three seasons. While the beginning months of the year have treated the Aggies quite well, the month of November has become a problem:

In 2013, A&M lost two of its four games in November (both to ranked opponents). The following year, Sumlin’s team dropped two contests to unranked foes. Last year, the same scenario unfolded — with A&M losing to two unranked teams during the month.

This year, the Aggies dropped its first November tilt against Mississippi State this past weekend.

If the trend continues, Texas A&M would lose one of the following three upcoming games versus the likes of Ole Miss, UTSA, LSU.

Sumlin surely hopes this will discontinue as his team fights for positioning within the conference.
