Staying home: Mizzou lands commitment from 4-star in-state DT

Eli Drinkwitz’s staff added a big pickup to Mizzou’s 2022 recruiting class on Friday when St. Charles (Missouri) standout Marquis Gracial announced his pledge to the in-state Tigers.

Listed at 6-4, 280 pounds, Gracial is rated 4-stars, the No. 5 player in Missouri, No. 16 defensive tackle and No. 189 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite.

In March, Gracial had said he would make his commitment on July 29, naming a top five of Missouri, Alabama, Arizona State, Iowa State, and Oregon. His 20 scholarship offers also include Kentucky and Tennessee.

Gracial has played defensive tackle, defensive end and tight end for St. Charles. Highlights from his junior season can be viewed below, via Hudl:
