WATCH: After losing Auburn vs. UNC bet to Charles Barkley, Stephen Colbert pays up

Stephen Colbert recently learned a valuable lesson, don’t bet against Bruce Pearl’s Auburn basketball team.
If you missed it last week, during a guest appearance on “The Late Show,” Charles Barkley and Colbert made a bet on the Auburn-North Carolina Sweet 16 basketball game. The loser had to wear the ugliest tie Colbert could find and as it turns out, “The Late Show” host had to turn around and wear the tie himself after Auburn took care of UNC last week.
In the video below, the original bet between Barkley and Colbert is included, along with Colbert paying his dues to the former Auburn great and current NBA and college basketball host for Turner Sports.
Of course, Auburn is still dancing in the NCAA Tournament with a date against Virginia looming in the upcoming Final Four. Barkley definitely gets more satisfaction from that fact that anything but this has to be a nice added bonus for Sir Charles.
