Stetson Bennett IV had to deal with an overwhelming amount of phone calls after his phone number was leaked on Friday night, a day before Georgia was set to take on Tennessee at Sanford Stadium.

Bennett, after Saturday’s win against the Volunteers, said that although there were “600 to 700” calls made to his number, it wasn’t used as motivation during the 27-14 win. He finished 17-of-25 with 2 touchdowns and 257 yards, running the ball in for a score.

As you can see below, even though Bennett claimed that the phone calls weren’t a motivating factor, he flashed a telephone sign after running the ball in for a score, referencing the event.

Georgia should find itself atop the College Football Playoff rankings come Tuesday night, a week after it was put at No. 3. With remaining games against Mississippi State, Kentucky, and Georgia Tech coming up before a potential SEC Championship appearance, the Bulldogs are looking like a team that can run the table all the way to Atlanta, and maybe beyond.
