Stetson Bennett took the opportunity to wake up the Georgia team and Sanford Stadium in a major way Saturday late in the first quarter.

Look — Georgia vs. Mizzou is a major mismatch, but the Tigers were playing some inspired football in the first quarter. Mizzou took the early 3-0 lead on the Bulldogs after a field goal, and Georgia’s offense looked like it was sputtering.

Kirby Smart decided to go for it on the fourth down on the fringe of field goal range, and Bennett rewarded him in a major way.

Bennett hit Arian Smith for a 35-yard touchdown to give Georgia its first lead, 7-3.

That woke up Georgia’s sleep walking team and Sanford Stadium.
