Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns are having just about the worst season anyone could have expected.

Entering Saturday’s game at West Virginia, the Longhorns were 4-6 and needed to win to keep their bowl hopes alive. Instead, they lost to the Mountaineers, 31-23.

Naturally, Texas fans aren’t a patient bunch. So, you can imagine how the reaction went on social media.

Below, you can see some of the reactions on Twitter calling for Sark to be fired after only 1 year in Austin:

Will the Longhorns actually pull the trigger and end the Sarkisian era after only 1 season? That would be crazy, but crazier things have certainly happened.

Falling to 4-7 and missing a bowl game isn’t going to sit well in Austin.
