It is normal for college football coaches to do that, as they don’t want to give their opponents any information on what they plan to do. But that’s usually the case for starters.

The Longhorns get the 2024 season started with a home game against the Colorado State Rams on Saturday. Opening kickoff is set to happen in Austin at 3:30 pm ET, and then a showdown in Week 2 is coming for the Longhorns with a roadtrip to take on the defending national champion Michigan Wolverines.
