If swinging the bat doesn’t work out for Tim Tebow by this time next year, there’s a good chance he has his next job lined up already.

Alliance of American Football coach Steve Spurrier was a guest on SiriusXM radio recently and revealed he has interest in adding Tebow to his Orlando football team. So much so, the Head Ball Coach has reached out to the other former Florida Heisman Trophy winner to gauge his interest in returning to football.

Turns out Spurrier is doing some recruiting in his new role after all.

“I’ve had some contact with Tim, and right now his message is, ‘Coach, I’m going to keep swinging the bat.’ ” Spurrier said during his appearance on the radio.

The union would appear to be a match made in heaven for the new spring football league and would potentially offer Tebow a final shot at winning the attention of the NFL — if he still has interest in that.
