Coming off a career season in the NFL, both individually and based on his team’s success in winning the Super Bowl, Trey Burton is set to cash in this offseason.

The former Gators is parlaying his big 2017 season into a four-year, $32 million dollar deal with Chicago according to reports from Mike Garafolo and Adam Schefter. Burton scored five touchdowns last season, the most his NFL career in a single season. Burton’s entire four-year NFL career has been spent in Philadephia.

Garafolo was the first to report the news of Burton heading to Chicago:

While Schefter broke the news on the details of his pending deal with the Bears:

That’s a great salary for the former Gator, considering he’s only registered 63 catches for 629 yards combined in four seasons in Philadephia. Apparently, it pays to win the Super Bowl.
