The LSU Tigers are down a commitment as of Monday night.
Three-star DE Ja’Quon Griffin (Rome, Georgia) decommitted from LSU via his Twitter account. He had been committed to the Tigers since April 22, but things have changed.
Listed at 6-foot and 265 pounds, Griffin is ranked as the nation’s No. 46 SDE and the state of Georgia’s No. 93 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. It appears that he holds one other SEC offer from Tennessee.
Following his decommitment, LSU is down to 18 commitments in the recruiting class, including having two other DE commits.
I would like to thank the LSU coaching staff for the opportunity, but I have decided to decommit and reopen my recruitment. @Mansell247
