The Kentucky Wildcats are down a commitment Thursday.

Louisville, Kentucky, DE Shawnkel Knight-Goff backed off his commitment and shared the news on social media. Knight-Goff had been committed to UK for almost two weeks before changing his mind. He cites, “I feel as if my commitment was rushed and not fully thought through.”

Knight-Goff is rated a 3-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 43 WDE and the state’s No. 8 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Being from Louisville, one would have to think that the Cardinals will be a big factor.

Following his decommitment, Kentucky has six commitments for the class of 2019.
