Talented Texas DL Shemar Pearl commits to Mizzou

Missouri and Barry Odom picked up their 14th commitment for the class of 2019 Monday morning.

Three-star Plano, Texas, DE Shemar Pearl committed to the Tigers. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound end is ranked as the nation’s No. 41 WDE and the state of Texas’ No. 74 overall prospect for the class of 2019, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Prior to Pearl’s commitment, the Tigers had the nation’s No. 53 overall recruiting class and the SEC’s No. 13 class, but those numbers should improve.

Pearl joins St. Louis native Arvell Ferguson as the second Tigers’ DL commit in the recruiting class.
