Tayven Jackson, former 4-star Tennessee QB, commits to Big Ten school

Former 4-star Tennessee quarterback Tayven Jackson is headed to the Big Ten.
Jackson announced via Twitter on Sunday that he was joining the Indiana Hoosiers for the 2023 season. The move makes sense after the freshman saw very little actions with the Vols, completing 3-of-4 passes for 37 yards with 4 rushing attempts for 10 yards and a touchdown.
He sustained a collarbone injury in the victory over Tennessee-Martin Oct. 22 and has been sidelined since. Tennessee goes into the upcoming season with backup quarterback Joe Milton returning and 5-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava signed for the Class of 2023.
Now that he’s returned home, it will be interesting to watch how this prospect who has already shown a wealth of potential and upside cracks his way into the depth chart for the long-term at Indiana.
