Kentucky wide receiver Tayvion Robinson is headed back to Lexington for the 2023 season.
Robinson took to Twitter on Monday to announce that he was prepared to “run it back” with the Wildcats this year. Keeping players like Robinson in the fold is a big positive for Kentucky after the team underperformed in 2022, originally projected to be one of the best teams in college football ahead of the season.
Robinson finished out the 2022 season with 40 receptions for 497 yards with 3 touchdowns. To this point in his career, Robinson tallies 153 catches for 2,052 yards and 12 touchdowns over the past 4 seasons, spending his first 3 seasons with the Virginia Tech Hokies before transferring.
Heading into his 5th year of college football, how much the veteran contributes to the Kentucky offense will be something to watch.
