Teez Tabor started the 2022 season as a member of the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad. Now, he has an opportunity with an active roster heading into Week 2.

In Week 1, Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams, the former LSU star, tore his quad in a win over the Denver Broncos. He’s out for the rest of the season.

Per NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Seahawks are adding Tabor to the active roster to fill Adams’ spot:

Tabor was a second-round pick out of Florida in the 2017 NFL Draft, going to the Detroit Lions. He spent 2017 and 2018 in Detroit before going to the San Francisco 49ers for the 2019 season. He was with the Chicago Bears in 2020 and 2021 before joining the Falcons’ practice squad this preseason.

Can he make an impact in Seattle? He’ll have an opportunity to get some playing time as the Seahawks make some major changes to their secondary moving forward.
