Tennessee AD Danny White issues statement on Oklahoma home-and-home series cancellation

Danny White has come in with a statement after the SEC directed Tennessee and Georgia not to play their agreed home vs. home series against Oklahoma.
Oklahoma and Texas will join the SEC before the start of the 2025 season, the Sooners were originally scheduled to travel to Neyland Stadium during the 2024 season.

It seems easy to assume that Oklahoma will make that trip to Tennessee in 2025 or 2026 as a conference opponent, but none of the future conference schedules have been released yet.
While Tennessee searches for a 2024 opponent, Georgia has already announced a replacement for its scheduled game against Oklahoma in 2023.
