Tennessee picks up verbal commitment from 2020 South Carolina recruit

Jeremy Pruitt hit the ground running from the moment he arrived in Knoxville. Even with spring football in the books, it doesn’t appear that he’s slowing down anytime soon.

Three days after getting a Tennessee offer, 2020 safety/receiver Antonio Barber gave his verbal commitment to the Vols.

Barber made that announcement via Twitter on Friday:

Barber already has offers from Colorado, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, UCLA and others.

The 6-foot, Rock Hill, South Carolina native became the second 2020 recruit to give his verbal pledge to the Vols. Tennessee already has a commitment from 4-star athlete Kristian Story, who committed to Pruitt’s program last month.

Tennessee picked up commitments from 3 recruits in the month of April alone (including 2019 pledges LeDarrius Cox and Darel Middleton).
