Johnson is currently rated as the No. 9 RB in the 2025 class and the No. 19 prospect out of Florida, per the 247Sports Composite ranking. Johnson not only stars in football, but also on the track. Originally out of Savannah, Georgia, the athlete qualified for the AAU Junior Olympics and eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards on varsity as a freshman.
Tennessee and Georgia are the 2 SEC finalists, while Florida State, USC, and Ohio State round out the rest of the top 5. Johnson had also received offers from Colorado, Michigan State, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M, among others.
Johnson has already visited with the Volunteers twice. Back in March, Johnson jetted to Knoxville for Tennessee’s junior day. Then, the running back was in attendance for the Vols’ matchup with the South Carolina Gamecocks.
