Tennessee announces new helmet decal to honor Hurricane Helene victims

Tennessee has unveiled a new helmet sticker to honor those who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene.

The Vols will debut the sticker, which reads “Mountain Strong,” during their Week 6 contest against Arkansas on Saturday.

Here’s a closer look at the new decal:

Hurricane Helene has impacted thousands of people throughout Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina in-particular. As part of this announcement, Tennessee has also shared ways it will be assisting in relief efforts.

Per a press release, Tennessee says it will be using QR codes at athletic events to educate fans on ways to donate to these organizations:

Tennessee will head out on the road to face Arkansas this weekend. The Vols are coming out of a bye week, but are 4-0 on the season. Their most recent win came against Oklahoma back in Week 4.

Kickoff between Tennessee and Arkansas is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
