Tennessee baseball is trying to bounce back from a rough weekend to start the baseball season.
The Vols dropped 2 of 3 games over the weekend against Arizona and Grand Canyon at an event in Arizona. The Vols beat UC-San Diego.
Ahead of the home opener against Alabama A&M on Tuesday, the Vols released a hype video with scenes around a packed, and sold out, Lindsey Wilson Stadium, mixed with audio from broadcasts.
Tennessee last season collected 13 midweek victories. This week, Alabama A&M will be in town for a 2-game series. The games mark the beginning of a 15-game homestand for the Big Orange.
In the Vols’ last game on Sunday, Drew Beam went 6 innings, allowed just 3 baserunners and struck out 6 in the win over UC-San Diego. He did not allow a run or a walk, and delivered just 86 pitches, as he faced 2 batters over the minimum.
