Tony Vitello and the 2024 national champion Tennessee baseball team was welcomed onto the field at Neyland Stadium Saturday during Alabama-Tennessee.
The 2024 BaseVols will go down as one of the greatest teams the college game has ever seen. Tennessee won 60 games and were dominant at the plate and on the mound. Tennessee had a propensity for home runs thanks to guys like Christian Moore, Blake Burke, Billy Amick and more.
Speaking of Amick, the baseball team walked out to Amick’s classic walk-up song, The Stroke:

The Vols downed Texas A&M 6-5 to win the national title following a dominant run through the postseason last Summer. And with Tony Vitello still at the helm of the program, expect the Vols to be top contenders once again in 2025.
Tennessee is pulling out all the stops for the Third Saturday in October. The Vols baseball team joins fellow notable people from Rocky Top’s past, such as Alvin Kamara, Darnell Wright, Jarrett Guarantano and Josiah-Jordan James.
It’s been a slow start on the field for both teams so far. The score is knotted at 0-0 after a couple key defensive stops by both programs, including a Dylan Sampson fumble well into Tennessee territory.
Buckle up, folks.
