Fans have plenty of reasons to head to Thompson-Boling Arena to watch Tennessee (20-1, 8-0 SEC) in action on the hardwood. Rick Barnes’ Volunteers are currently ranked No. 1 and winners of 16 straight. UT is adding some extra fun to an upcoming SEC clash.

With Florida coming in next Saturday (Feb. 9), the Vols plan to “checker” Thompson-Boling Arena in all-orange and all-white sections. UT has created an easy-to-remember website for fans to find out which color they need to wear.

The Feb. 9 game will be Tennessee and Florida’s second meeting of the 2018-19 season. The Volunteers traveled to Gainesville last month and fought off an upset bid from unranked UF (12-9, 4-4 SEC), coming on strong at the end for a 78-67 win.

UT most recently beat Texas A&M 93-76 in College Station. The Vols look to extend their winning streak when they host Missouri on Tuesday night. Florida fell 65-54 at home to Kentucky on Saturday and will look to bounce back Tuesday at Auburn.
