Tennessee’s 2016 recruiting class seemingly lost two of its previous commitments on Sunday, and for at least one of them, it was not by choice.

TaDarryl Marshall, who is a three-star athlete from Leeds, Ala., posted a note to Twitter that indicated that Tennessee had revoked his scholarship offer:

Later Sunday evening, Chidi Okonya, who is a four-star defensive end recruit from Riverdale, Ga., took to Twitter to announce that he was also no longer committed to the Vols:

According to 247Sports, Okonya had been committed to the Vols since May and Marshall since April.

The loss of those two prospects has dropped the 2016 Tennessee class to 16 hard commitments, according to 247Sports.
