Tennessee has high hopes for the 2023 college football season and it all starts on Saturday against Virginia.

The No. 12 Vols got off to a fast start, getting the ball first and marching down the field thanks to Jaylen Wright and the running game.

But on fourth down from the red zone, the Vols turned to QB Joe Milton III and his arm.

As you can see below, Milton found RB Dylan Sampson for a 9-yard touchdown:

Tennessee’s running game is firing on all cylinders already, and that’s a scary thought for Virginia fans. If the Vols can move the ball like they did on their first drive, it could be a long day for the Cavaliers.

Wright went for 44 yards on 4 carries and also had a catch for 6 yards on the first drive. Milton has his first touchdown pass of the year.

Tune in to ABC to see how the rest of the game unfolds.
