Tennessee DC Bob Shoop questions the officials in wake of loss to Alabama

Tennessee defensive coordinator Bob Shoop will probably receive a call from the SEC offices this week after he made a comment questioning the officiating in Saturday’s 49-10 loss to No. 1 Alabama.
Shoop joked that the officials from Saturday afternoon should get an award from Alabama:
Shoop: "I hear they honor officials of the week in Alabama, too. They were the guys that called our game on Saturday."

When your team loses 49-10, it’s tough to blame the officiating, but Shoop did anyway.
The comments came at a Knoxville QB Club event and were delivered as a joke, but there’s still a chance the coach’s wallet could be a little lighter by this weekend.
