With several important players, including LSU star RB Leonard Fournette deciding to forgo their upcoming bowl games in order to get ready for the NFL draft, nearly every player, analyst and coach is weighing in on the hot-button issue.

On Tuesday, Tennessee star DE Derek Barnett shared his opinion on the issue, saying he thinks skipping a bowl game would be disrespectful:

Therefore, it’s safe to say the Vols junior will be out on the field for the Music City Bowl this week.

Barnett has recorded 12 sacks, an interception and two forced fumbles this season and will look to add to those totals before he considers whether or not to enter the 2017 NFL Draft.

Watch Barnett in what could be his final collegiate game on Friday, Dec. 30, against Nebraska. The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
