Tennessee fans showed up in force for a big game against Ole Miss on Saturday night.
The Neyland Stadium crowd was electric, but there was a moment in the fourth quarter that earned Vol fans the ire of Twitter users everywhere.
On a running play in the fourth quarter, star Ole Miss QB Matt Corral was tackled from behind and suffered a knee injury. That, as you can hear in the video below, prompted Vol fans to cheer:

Booing or cheering an opposing player’s injury is never a good look, so Vol fans heard it from folks on Twitter.
Here’s some of the reaction to the booing that took place after Corral’s injury:

Tennessee fans reminding me why I’m grateful to not be associated with Rocky Top. Says a lot about your base when y’all gleefully applaud a QB injury. #OleMissvsTenn

Tennessee fans are just classless pathetic losers. Cheering when Ole Miss players go down, including QB Matt Corral. Great look for your university @Vol_Football

Always knew Tennessee fans had no class, but hearing the number of times they’ve cheered for Ole Miss injuries is just disgusting.

The Tennessee crowd cheered Matt Corrall’s injury. That’s wild. Never seen fans do that before this year. Makes sense w/ how fast society is deteriorating. Bummer
