Tennessee 7-footer Uros Plavsic injured his ankle in Tennessee’s rough loss to Colorado last week. He was initially said to be out for a couple weeks but has progressed quicker than expected.
The Vols are set to take part in the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis tournament starting Wednesday. The Vols will face off against Butler before taking on one of USC or BYU in Round 2.
Adding Plavsic back is huge news for a frontcourt that has had some trouble maintaining a presence inside.
#Vols forward Uros Plavsic will be available tomorrow against Butler, Rick Barnes just said during his press conference previewing this week’s Battle 4 Atlantis.
Plavsic turned his ankle against Colorado on Nov. 13.

Tennessee is looking to prove its struggles against Colorado were dimply a fluke starting Wednesday, The Vols were the No,. 11 team in the country preseason and obviously still have a lot of work to do to truly reach their potential.
Finding an answer at point guard seems to be the true worry right now. Zakai Zeigler is very talented, but moving into a role he is not used to after the departure of Kennedy Chandler last season.
