Tennessee lands commitment from 2019 DE Jalil Clemons out of Starkville

The Tennessee Volunteers have been picking up some steam on the recruiting trails, and on Sunday, they landed their 11th commitment of the 2019 cycle.
This time, they dipped into Starkville, Mississippi — home of Mississippi State — to land a 3-star defensive end.
As you can see below, Jalil Clemons announced on Twitter on Sunday evening that he’d be heading to Knoxville next fall:

According to the 247Sports composite, Clemons is the No. 43 strong-side defensive end in the class of 2019 and the No. 25 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
The Vols now have 11 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 9 in the SEC and No. 20 nationally, per 247Sports.
