Tennessee makes Connecticut ATH’s top 8 list

Power 5 vs. Ivy League recruiting battles aren’t too common, but a Connecticut athlete has an interesting assortment of programs in his top eight schools.

Jeffrey Davis Jr. out of West Hartford revealed Sunday (via Twitter) that Tennessee is in his top 8, along with Boston College, Michigan, Penn State, Princeton, Rutgers, Wake Forest and Yale. On his Twitter account, Davis boasts that he’s “#1 ATH in CT.” On the 247Sports Composite, he’s graded as a cornerback and rated 3-stars, the No. 2 recruit in the state, No. 39 at the position and No. 510 overall nationally in the class of 2021.

Davis holds 11 scholarship offers. Jeremy Pruitt’s staff extended its offer back on Nov. 11, 2019. Davis’ junior season highlights can be viewed below via Hudl:
