Tennessee off to a huge start against Pittsburgh

Tennessee has built a 7-0 lead over Pittsburgh in the Johnny Majors Classic.

And it didn’t take long for the Volunteers to get on the board in a meeting between two schools once led by the legendary head coach. After the Tennessee defense forced a Pitt 3-and-out at the Panthers 13, Panthers punter Kirk Christodoulou was called on to punt. But it was blocked by Christan Charles and recovered by the Vols at the 2 yard line.

On the very next play, Jabari Small punched it in from 2 yards out as the Vols opened the scoring less than 90 seconds into the contest.
