All the talk in the off-season about Tennessee’s running backs was pretty much limited to either how well John Kelly would play as the full-time starter or how quickly true freshman Ty Chandler would make an impact.
Kelly was a workhorse for Tennessee with four touchdowns vs. Georgia Tech in Week 1, and Chandler took back the opening kickoff for a score against Indiana State.
But how about Carlin Fils-Aime? He’s the guy nobody has been talking about.
Fils-Aime punched in a pair of touchdowns for the Volunteers in the first half against the Sycamores, including this impressive 30-yard scamper down the sideline:

All in all, Fils-Aime had three carries for 41 yards and the two scores in the first half at the time of this post.
He had just two touchdowns all of last season on 14 carries.
