Olivier Nkamhoua had the best season of his Tennessee career in 2022-23 but will look at playing elsewhere in 2023-24.
Nkamhoua, the only Volunteer to start all 36 games of UT’s season, has reportedly entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.

Originally from Helsinki, Finland, Nkamhoua has been with the Vols since the 2019-20 campaign. The NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver allows him to play a 5th season of college basketball.
Nkamhoua had a career year as a senior, averaging 10.8 points and 2 assists over 25.3 minutes per game. He led the team in rebounds with 5 per game.
In Tennessee’s NCAA Tournament win over Duke, Nkamhoua scored a career-high 27 points. The 6-9, 236-pounder hit a career-best 3 3-pointers in the win over the Blue Devils to reach the Sweet 16. Nkamhoua scored 17 of Tennessee’s final 19 points against Duke, including 13 straight at one point to propel the Vols into the Sweet 16.
